JAIPUR LITERATURE FESTIVAL

This wonderful event goes from strength to strength and is a permanent fixture in our diary. In 2022 they moved the festival to the Clarks Amer Hotel. There was concern that with the move from Diggi Palace some of the charm and ambience would be lost, but I am delighted to say it is the same vibrant & stimulating festival. The additional space is welcome and having the Music Stage and the Literary Events back in the same venue is definitely an advantage.
The new venue is out of town, in the direction of the airport so this year Emma Horne Travel is offering two accommodation options.
Four Points By Sheraton - although this is a modern hotel its proximity to the venue worked very well for our guests in 2023. It is less than a 10 minutes’ drive from the JLF venue which is convenient if you need to return to the hotel at any time during the day, or wish to freshen up prior to the evening musical sessions. If you do want to go into town for dinner in the evening it is quite quick as it is against the traffic.
This year we are also offering rooms at The Khandela Haveli, for those who wish to be more central or something a little more budget conscious. As some of you will know the Khandela is where we booked rooms in previous years for the festival. The drive from Khandela to the JLF festival site will be about 30-45 minutes.
Rates at Four Points by Sheraton:
Double/single room: INR12,300 per room per night – inclusive of breakfast
Rates at Khandela Haveli:
Double occupancy room: INR6,500 per room per inclusive of breakfast
Single occupancy room: INR5,500 per room per inclusive of breakfast
Please note 5% GST will be added to our final invoice.
Although the Festival is best experienced on a personal level (too much choice to move around as a group), Emma is on hand to offer advice and guide you in the right direction. The Jaipur Literature Festival can be combined with a more extensive itinerary to Rajasthan and Northern India.
We will be happy to advise on additional sightseeing and excursions and transport arrangements. Jaipur can be reached by trains, flights & by vehicle from Delhi.
